Press Win + R, enter winver and note your Windows version and OS build. Keep it handy in case you need support.

Download the loader from your account page and extract it with the archive password 123.

The archive is password protected, so double-clicking it and dragging the file out will not work. Right-click the archive, pick your extraction tool and choose Extract.

Keep the game closed while you prepare Windows.

The loader needs CPU virtualization enabled, UEFI boot mode and Secure Boot enabled.

Task Manager > Performance > CPU

Check that Virtualization says Enabled.

Then press Win + R, enter msinfo32 and look for BIOS Mode: UEFI and Secure Boot State: On.

If either one is off, open your PC's BIOS/UEFI settings. Virtualization may be listed as Intel Virtualization Technology / VT-x or SVM Mode / AMD-V. Enable it, enable Secure Boot, then save and exit.

BIOS menus differ by motherboard. If device encryption is on, have your BitLocker recovery key ready before changing firmware settings. CPU virtualization and Memory integrity are separate settings: keep virtualization enabled while you switch Memory integrity off in the next step.

Set Memory integrity to Off. This is the Windows feature also called HVCI. Apply the change with the full shutdown further down.

Check it again after any BIOS change or Windows update. Memory integrity switching itself back on is the most common reason a working setup stops working.

On the same screen, set Microsoft Vulnerable Driver Blocklist to Off, then apply it with the full shutdown step.

If the toggle is missing, greyed out or switches itself back on, Memory integrity, Smart App Control or Windows S mode may be enforcing it. Send support a screenshot before changing anything else.

Windows Security > Virus & threat protection > Manage settings

Turn Real-time protection off for the setup. It can switch itself back on, so recheck it if the loader gets blocked.

Under Exclusions, open Add or remove exclusions > Add an exclusion > File and select the loader executable you extracted. Any third-party antivirus needs the same exclusion.

Use a File exclusion for that one executable. Choosing File type and entering .exe would exclude every executable on your PC. An exclusion does not bring back a file that was already removed: if that happened, extract the loader again after adding the exclusion.

Windows settings are only part of the setup. Monitoring, tuning, RGB and overlay tools can block the loader, and closing their window often leaves a service or driver running.

• ASUS Armoury Crate: a known conflict. Removing it has fixed failures that nothing else did.
• MSI Afterburner and RivaTuner (RTSS): exit both. RTSS is a separate app and keeps running after you close Afterburner.
• Other utilities: MSI Center, ASUS AI Suite, Gigabyte Control Center, Corsair iCUE.
• Overlays and capture tools: Discord, Steam, NVIDIA App, AMD Software, FPS counters.
• Other anti-cheats: uninstall anti-cheat software left behind by other games.

To find the culprit, exit these apps from the system tray, disable them under Task Manager > Startup apps, do a full shutdown and try again. If it works, re-enable one app at a time until the error returns.

Save your work and close your apps. Press Win + R, run the command below and wait until the PC is completely off. Then start it with the power button.

Go through the checklist once more against your current settings. Run the loader as administrator and sign in with the key from your order email or account page. Start the game: the menu appears once the loader reports it is attached.

If the loader stops with Setup incomplete, keep the line printed right above it. That line names the part that failed. Match it in the error finder below.
