Remove Third-Party Antivirus Software

Removing Your Antivirus

1. Open the Control Panel.
2. Go to "Programs and Features."
3. Find "Your Antivirus" in the list of installed programs.
4. Click "Uninstall" and follow the prompts to remove Avast.
5. Restart your computer.

Disabling Avast Antivirus

1. Open Avast Antivirus from the system tray or Start menu.
2. Go to "Settings" and then "Protection."
3. Click on "Core Shields."
4. Toggle off the switch for "Enable All Core Shields."
5. Confirm by clicking "OK" or "Yes."

Disabling Norton Antivirus

1. Open Norton Antivirus from the system tray or Start menu.
2. Go to "Settings" and then "Antivirus."
3. Click on the "Real-Time Protection" tab.
4. Toggle off the switch for "Real-Time Protection."
5. Confirm by clicking "Apply" or "Yes."

Disabling McAfee Antivirus

1. Open McAfee Antivirus from the system tray or Start menu.
2. Go to "Settings" and then "Real-Time Scanning."
3. Click "Turn Off" next to "Real-Time Scanning."
4. Choose a duration and click "Turn Off."

Disabling Bitdefender Antivirus

1. Open Bitdefender Antivirus from the system tray or Start menu.
2. Go to "Protection" and then "Antivirus."
3. Click on "Open" under "Advanced Threat Defense."
4. Toggle off the switch for "Advanced Threat Defense."

Disabling Kaspersky Antivirus

1. Open Kaspersky Antivirus from the system tray or Start menu.
2. Go to "Settings" and then "Protection."
3. Toggle off the switch for "File Anti-Virus" and other protection modules.
4. Confirm by clicking "OK" or "Yes."
